I have operated my own First Aid Supplies business that has been based in Balbriggan since 2002, employing 6 people.
        
I worked previously in marketing and sales roles with Smith+Nephew, Cheseborough Ponds, and Irish Biscuits.
        
        
Involvement:
Member of Fine Gael since 1981.

Elected to Dublin City Council 1999, re-elected in 2004 & 2009.
Fine Gael Group Leader Dublin City Council 2004 - 2010.
Elected Lord Mayor of Dublin in 2010.
Director of the Dublin City Enterprise Board for 9 years.
First Chair of the HSE Regional Health Forum for Dublin and North East, 2006-2007.
Member of the Traffic & Transport Strategic Policy Committee 2000/4, Planning, Development & European Strategic Policy Committee 2004/6.
Member of the Arts, Culture, Leisure, & Youth Affairs Strategic Policy Committee 2009 - and Chair 2006/9.
Currently chair the Dublin City Joint Policing Committee and the North Central Joint Policing subcommittee.
Chair Protocol Committee 2005/6, 2007/8, 2009/10.
Founder and Chair Dublin Bay Watch.

Protecting the jobs in the city centre, encouraging businesses throughout with village groups and events.
